How to setup MicroSip Softphone on Windows
- Goto Microsip website at https://www.microsip.org/downloads and dowload the exe file, then install on your computer.
- Open Micro SIP
- Add Account
- Fill information as per screenshot and press SAVE
- NOTE:- TRANSPORT set as UDP if connecting to our SIP Trunk service with usernames starting with 6199xxxxxxx, otherwise if connecting to our CLOUD PBX set either UDP / TCP or TLS (if you are using a mobile internet connection set as TCP)
- If you entered everything correctly, microsip should register fine
- You should now be able to make and receive calls
Setting BLF buttons on MicroSip if conecting to our CLOUD PBX
- Goto SHORTCUTS in MicroSip
- Fill and follow the next screenshot and SAVE
- That's done, now you can see the STATUS of the other extensions
PS - DND unfortunately MicroSip does not allow to edit and insert codes, so that means when you press DND. it only stores in MicroSip and not on the Cloud PBX.
IM (Instant Messaging) also works fine on MicroSip softphone.
